1. On which platforms is my music available with my digital distribution?
To find out on which platforms your music is available, go to the tab PRODUCTS > Digital Distribution. Then go to the “Actions” column, click on the gear icon and choose “Add/Delete platforms“. You will then see the list of selected platforms and you can as well modify this list.
You can also view the list of platforms by clicking on “Digital Distribution Agreement” in the gear menu. All platforms are listed at the bottom of the agreement.
2. How many platforms does Wiseband distribute to?
Currently Wiseband can distribute you on a total of 42 platforms, here is the list:
Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music/ITunes/Shazam, Tiktok, Facebook/Instagram, Amazon Music, Qobuz, Pandora, Resso, Tidal, JioSaavn, YouTube (YouTube Music & Content ID), Napster, Triller, Snapchat, Anghami, Netease, QQ Music, Alibaba, AWA, Yandex, Mixcloud, Slacker, iHeart Radio, Boomplay, Trebel, 7digital, Beatport, Traxsource, Juno…

3. How long does it take for my music to be available on the platforms?
Very important! Distribution times are crucial to the successful launch of a single or an album. Currently, the main platforms such as Spotify, Deezer, or Amazon Music, require up to 48 hours to deliver your tracks. But some are longer, such as Apple Music, which requires a minimum of 6 days. And this delay can be even longer for some other platforms, where delays can be as long as 3 weeks.
We recommend a minimum of 3 weeks between your distribution request and your release date. If it’s more, it’s even better! Anticipation is one of the keys to success in distribution, as taking the time to promote your product in advance is very important.
4. What changes can I make after my request has been submitted?
It is quite possible that something has to be changed afterwards, because errors have crept in the information on your release.
You can then modify*:
- The name of a song
- All metadata related to a song or an album (arranger, producer, etc…)
- The artwork (cover image)
- The original file can be replaced by a new one
- The band name**
*Modifications will be charged 10€ each including VAT. Therefore, please check carefully in advance whether all details are correct!
**Changing the band name is a lengthy process, that’s why we charge 50€ including VAT.
Please note: You cannot change the ISRC code of a track.
5. My music is appearing on the wrong artist page – What can I do?
This is a common problem that occurs when other artists have the same name as you. However, we are able to avoid such mix-ups. For further information, please read our article on “Artist Mapping”.
6. The tracks distributed on YouTube are not assigned to my YouTube artist channel – What can I do?
On YouTube all tracks are automatically assigned to channels called “Topic” or “Various artists”. To remedy this, we can ask YouTube to convert your channel into an Official Artist Channel. Once this is done, all your releases will be assigned to your official channel by default.

7. What is YouTube Content ID? How to get it?
The Content ID feature creates a fingerprint of your music. This fingerprint will then automatically and (almost) systematically identify your music as soon as it appears in a YouTube video and thus generate revenue. Convenient, isn’t it?
However, Content ID eligibility is based on several strict criteria. One of the criteria that YouTube and therefore we apply is that you own exclusive rights to all parts of your track. If by chance a piece of music slips through the net, it will always end up being recognized. In this case, the content will be withdrawn immediately and the earnings will be frozen.
Each track is checked before being added to the Content ID system.
8. Which platforms pay the most? How much do I earn per stream?
Frequently asked questions to which there is not really a simple answer. It all depends on different factors, as e.g.:
- Location: payouts vary from country to country.
- Revenue per stream varies; it’s a bit like the stock market.
- Number of users.
